Sail Repairs
Sails work hard. Over time, UV exposure, flogging, chafe and general use can cause wear and damage.
Our loft can inspect your sail and carry out a wide range of repairs. From a small tear to more substantial structural work, we'll assess the damage and recommend the most practical repair.

Sail Servicing

Sail Laundry & Cleaning
Sails can collect dirt, salt, mildew and general grime during a season on the water.
Our professional sail laundry service helps freshen up your sails and covers, removing accumulated dirt and salt where possible.
Cleaning is particularly useful as part of winter maintenance or before putting your boat away for an extended period.
Please note: While we take great care during the cleaning process, some staining, mildew marks and UV discolouration may be permanent and cannot always be removed.

Heavily soiled items may require additional cleaning and will be quoted before work begins.
Cover Repairs
A good cover protects your boat and equipment from UV, rain and general wear — but covers themselves take a lot of punishment.
We can repair a wide range of covers and marine canvas products.
Our cover repair services include:

- Strap and buckle replacement

- Chafe protection
If your cover is becoming worn but is otherwise in good condition, a repair can often be a cost-effective alternative to replacement.
Winter Sail Care
Winter is the ideal time to get your sails inspected, serviced and cleaned.
By bringing your sails in at the end of the season, we can assess their condition and carry out any necessary repairs before the next year's sailing begins.
This means you're ready to rig and go when the new season arrives.
Our recommendation:
- Remove sails from the boat at the end of the season.
- Allow them to dry before storage.
- Book them in for an inspection and service.
- Clean sails and covers where required.
- Store them somewhere dry and protected from UV.
