Hi Grant

I used the new kite last Sunday and along with the amended mainsail both worked really well.  I had arranged for John (Pierce) to do a Training weekend for 4 local F18 sailors and Dave and Martin on the Tornado.  Only 3 F18’s took part so on the Sunday I joined in.  John was very impressed with the performance of the mainsail in comparison with the F18’s upwind (wind speed varied between 5-15mph) and I along with another 18 were always first to the windward mark, even on very long tuning beats the F18’s weren’t getting away even when they were twin wiring (never really managed to do that before).

Downwind was much the same in fact I was quickest Cat on the water, not even the T could catch me downwind when we all started together for another long tuning run.

​

I hope you’ll get the chance to take out my F16 during Carnac so you can see for yourself what a great job you’ve done in

making and amending my sails.
